Interview

When and how did you get your start in marketing?

One of my first jobs out of college was an Assistant Email Marketing Manager at Neiman Marcus. I moved to Cinemark shortly after, and I’ve been growing the program since!

 

What have been some big highlights in your career? 

Transforming Cinemark’s digital communications program – from a weekly email newsletter to a robust mix of broadcast and triggered campaigns across multiple channels.

 

How did COVID-19 change the way you work, what did you learn? How did you adapt?

I quickly learned the value of virtual notes and shared files. I’m nothing without my laptop now. It’s tough going into a meeting without it. How does one take notes? On paper?

 

What is one piece of advice that you would give to a new Iterable user?

Someone gave me this advice before I started, and want to pass along the reminder: once you create an attribute, you cannot edit or delete it. Take advantage of the sandbox before uploading to your main project!

 

What’s your long-term vision with Iterable?

Continued partnership to grow our digital communications program, while also helping shape Iterable’s technical enhancements through beta and product feedback.

 

What challenges and/or problems was your team experiencing prior to Iterable? How does Iterable solve for these?

We have a lot of unique use cases, and it was challenging to fit within the constraints of previous ESPs. Iterable actively partners with us to provide interim and long-term solutions.

 

What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?

Food! The way to my heart is through my stomach.

 

What is one goal you’d like to achieve in your lifetime?

Climb Mt. Fuji.
