What brings you joy in your role?
I fully believe in Coinbase’s mission to bring economic freedom to the world and I’m grateful to be a part of this team. I think we’re still in the early stages of Web3 and crypto and it’s exciting to be able to make an impact in this industry.
What have been some big highlights in your career?
Being a part of the launch team for a couple of different products here has been really exciting. Most recently, we launched the beta for the NFT marketplace. While It took a lot of work and long nights, the launch went well which really goes to show how great of a team we have. Definitely one of the highlights of my career.
How did COVID-19 change the way you work, what did you learn? How did you adapt?
Being a remote-first company, in-person interaction is hard to come by. I’ve adjusted by setting up more in-person meetings which I think is essential to working well together. I’ll still mainly use Slack and email but it can’t replace in-person/virtual meetings.
What’s your long-term vision with Iterable?
Leveraging the platform to scale our existing products but also new ones that we’re working on. I know Iterable is always working on improving the platform and I hope to grow our CRM program alongside it.
What does customer experience mean to you and how does Iterable play a role?
Customer experience to me means communicating to customers in a meaningful and impactful way. Iterable’s ability to create personalized and highly targeted campaigns has helped us improve the quality of our email traffic beyond just sending more.
How do you bring joy to your customers?
In my opinion, bringing joy to a customer is showing them something they’re interested in when they might not know it themselves. We use advanced segmentation to promote our products to customers in a way that is both personal and relevant.
What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?
When the crypto and stock markets are up! That and a nice sunny day.
If you weren’t a marketer, what would you be?
I’d want to work in either graphic or product design. Art has always been a hobby of mine since I’ve been young.
