Activate Summit 2025 is less than a month away, and I couldn’t be more excited to head to sunny San Jose, California, on April 1-3, to usher in the new era of marketing with the Iterable community.
Before I joined the Iterable marketing operations team in 2021, I had already been an Iterable super fan for years, implementing our product at brands like Burst Oral Care and HopSkipDrive.
What I love about working with Iterable is its simple user experience, which gives marketers the ability to easily build complex customer journeys. As a lifecycle and CRM nerd, Activate is the must-attend event to uplevel my skills.

1. The Importance of Stretching: How to Build a Resilient Marketing Career in the Age of AI
While I do love a good yoga session (not unheard of at Iterable events!), this presentation is all about a different kind of stretching. As marketing technology (including Iterable!) continues to integrate AI, I’m looking for ways to become a more savvy user and apply these skills to my work.
That’s why I’m excited for this session on building resilience as a marketer. There will be several AI-focused sessions at Activate, of course, but this presentation will break down the fundamental shifts in marketing roles due to AI and highlight skills that folks like myself will need in the next two to five years.
I like the analogy of building professional competency like a muscle and applying the right mindset to overcome discomfort and become more nimble. Agility is a strength all marketers should have, regardless of their career stage, and I’m intrigued to learn more!
2. Beyond ROI: New Metrics for the Modern Marketing Era
Traditional ROI has long been the gold standard of measuring marketing success, but as customer expectations and engagement strategies become more sophisticated, shouldn’t our metrics?
As someone who’s prioritizing reporting and analysis in my own development this year, this session couldn’t come at a better time. Rachel Kamel, Director, CRM at Zwift, is an incredible presenter, and I always come away from her sessions with some nice chewy food for thought as well as actionable insights that I can implement right away.
I’m interested in understanding the limitations of ROI and gaining new modern measurement frameworks that marketers can use to track engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value. If you’re a number-cruncher like I am, I’ll see you at this session!
3. How to Engage Your International Audience With WhatsApp
WhatsApp is the world’s most widely used messaging app, and yet many marketers—myself included—are just beginning to explore its full potential as a customer engagement channel.
As I explore adding Whatsapp to our own channel mix within Iterable at Iterable, this session is my chance to dig into the possibilities of this rich and influential medium.
