User Engagement Teardown: Pinterest

In this User Engagement Teardown, we are taking a look at Pinterest, the wildly successful visual bookmarking or “pinning” site. As of October 2016, they have over 150M active users!

You would expect Pinterest to have done a good job of user engagement and that is indeed what we found. We created an account on Pinterest, studied how they communicated with their subscribers across the channels in a course of three weeks.

Take a look at the slides below for more — we think there are some great lessons and ideas there for all marketers who want to drive their engagement with users.

(Note: if you can’t see the embedded SlideShare, make sure to turn off any ad blockers!)

Note: Pinterest is not an Iterable customer.
