Josh's Bio
Josh was born in Soquel, CA, and raised throughout California. He received his Bachelor’s in Art History from Sonoma State University, and is a lifelong learner striving to add more to his personal and work related toolsets. He started his journey at Redbubble as an artist, and was formally brought on to work with the art community at large. For the past 7+ years he’s been working in email marketing.

When and how did you get your start in marketing?
I started working with the artists community, and someone found out I knew HTML/CSS. This brought me into the marketing department for artist only emails. It grew rapidly from there.
What brings you joy in your role?
Helping people. That includes my team, the artists that are featured in the emails, and the customers that find that new inspiring work of art.
What tips, tricks, or pieces of advice would give a new Iterable user?
Take all the Iterable Academy Courses. Dive in and play around with the interface and start building.
What led you to choose Iterable over others in the market?

What are some Iterable features that have made your job easier? Or have been game-changers for yourself and your team?
The AI tools such as Copy Assist and Brand Affinity.
What do you think will be the next big thing in the marketing industry (AI, automation, new channels?)
AI in regards to automation and dynamic messaging and content.
How do you stay up–to–date with the latest trends and developments in marketing?
I subscribe to a lot of newsletters, substack etc. A weekly breakdown of new trends and tools to watch out for.
