Putting Power Back Into the Hands of Marketers

It’s certainly been a fantastic year here at Iterable!

While I could list our team’s numerous accomplishments in 2017 — from ranking as the fastest-growing SaaS company among 1,000 other standout businesses to expanding our omni-channel capabilities with a slew of new functionality — what I’m most proud of is our laser-focus on serving our amazing customers.

Iterable has quickly evolved from a leading growth marketing platform to the world’s most powerful B2C CRM, trusted by household names like Zillow, Box, Runkeeper, DoorDash, SeatGeek, Avery and many, many more.

This year we’ve helped these high-velocity brands create rewarding relationships with their own customers — ultimately reaching one billion people with data-driven, personalized content.

So what makes our customers, employees, and partners so passionate about what we do? I’ll boil it down to three of our founding principles:

1. We build with the practice of marketing in mind.

The goals and objectives of marketers will always remain at the forefront of our product design. We make it easy for the modern marketer to use Iterable effectively, without reliance on engineering expertise.

This led to our launch of several new messaging channels, including direct mail, web push notifications, and Facebook Custom Audiences. Now marketers can spend less time managing a multitude of different tools and more time focused on building their brands and driving real results.

2. We apply engineering strength to marketing expertise.

Iterable maintains focus on developing powerful technology solutions to the challenges that modern marketers face today, as well as the ones they’ll face tomorrow. We do this by making data accessible and actionable by connecting disparate silos across first- and third-parties — allowing you to gain a holistic view of your consumer and develop effective engagement.

We believe that by enabling new ways to leverage all your customer data, you can then activate modern marketing excellence. Hence the name of our debut conference for omni-channel marketing, Activate, which will bring together over 300 innovators on April 3, 2018. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to rub shoulders with the best marketers in the industry — make sure you save the date!

3. We take time to get to know our customers and give back to our community.

The Iterable team had so much to celebrate in 2017, and we wanted to share those milestones with the people who made it all possible. When we opened our New York headquarters, we hosted a test kitchen experience with renowned chef David Bouley. We enjoyed America’s favorite pastime by sponsoring Giants and Rockies baseball games, and we treated customers to a two Michelin-starred experience at Lazy Bear. Whether it’s by putting on a magic show or a night of fine dining, we believe in investing as much in our customer community as we do in our product.

That also means supporting those who need it most. Our team gave back to our communities by doing our part for our planet on Earth Day, donating to those affected by the Tubbs fire in Santa Rosa, and volunteering at the SF Marin Food Bank. And of course, we will expand our efforts even further next year with new char-iterable (see what I did there?) initiatives and programs.

We want to thank you all for your support and look forward to seeing what 2018 has in store for us at Iterable!
