Email marketing isn’t just a tool in my toolkit—it’s where I thrive. I’m dedicated to exploring the nuances of segmentation, personalization, and automation to deliver targeted messages that drive meaningful outcomes. Whether I’m fine-tuning an A/B test or orchestrating a multi-step campaign, I’m committed to maximizing ROI and enriching the customer journey.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two dogs and two cats. We love to explore the outdoors, travel, and try new restaurants here in Birmingham, Alabama. I also love art of all kinds, but especially enjoy painting pet portraits!

What brings you joy in your role?

I get so much joy in leveraging my skills to raise awareness about the vital services our veterinary clinics provide. Whether it’s crafting compelling campaigns that highlight our commitment to animal welfare or developing innovative strategies to reach new audiences, I take pride in knowing that my work contributes to improving the lives of pets and their owners. Plus, who doesn’t love a good pet pun—we love fetching positive results!

 

What is a common misconception about your role?

That we just send emails. I work across CRM and Organic Growth for our entire portfolio, and while email is a key driver of our strategy, it is not the only driver. A lot of thought and effort goes into every component of our campaigns and efforts, and even within CRM there is an incredible amount of magic that happens in order to get just one email out of the door. I truly love what I do, and as my new sticker says “My Job…It’s not just Email.”

 

What tips, tricks, or pieces of advice would give a new Iterable user?

Be incredibly picky about your organization of not only your data structure but also your assets (campaigns, journeys, etc..) from day one. Having a naming convention strategy and being organized will help immensely once you begin ramping up your efforts.

 

What led you to choose Iterable over others in the market?

The customer service Iterable provides is second to none! This was a huge component in our decision to move to Iterable and it has definitely lived up to the hype. We don’t know what we would do without our premier support rep (shoutout Heather Spolestra!) who has been a crucial part of our success in creating highly personalized messaging and journeys from day 1.

 

As a consumer, what brings you joy from a brand’s outreach/communication?

I find joy in brands that surprise and delight me with creative and innovative approaches. Not only does it make the interaction memorable and enjoyable but also drastically increases my affinity for the brand as a whole.

 

Besides Iterable, what are the other tools in your marketing toolkit that you can’t live without?

Figma! We have recently introduced Figma as a collaborative tool with our design team and it has made working on projects or campaigns with multiple assets or variations of the same asset so much smoother!

 

What is one goal you’d like to achieve in your lifetime?

I would love to be bi-lingual.
