Interview
What brings you joy in your role?
I find joy in expanding simple insights into inspiration for unlocking new test concepts. Continuously refining the customer’s messaging experience, exploring learnings with cross-functional peers, and seeing measurable impact is the best.
How do you stay inspired or motivated in your work?
Motivation comes to me by keeping the customer top of mind. Our messages are helping people travel to the moments that matter most to them, so a valuable source of inspiration is planning my own travel experiences and noting what goes well or is an opportunity.
What tips, tricks, or pieces of advice would give a new Iterable user?
Stay familiar with your data and insights so that you and your team can be quick to dig in when an anomaly arises. Also, tap into the knowledge of your CSM when brainstorming a new challenge or optimizing your current implementation.
What’s your long-term vision with Iterable?
My long-term vision is to send the best message to customers at the right time while also maintaining personalized frequency logic. It’s a big goal – but also an exciting one!
As a consumer, what brings you joy from a brand’s outreach/communication?
Well-timed messages with personalized content are my favorite. When a brand hits my inbox with something relevant to my interests and just when I need it most, there’s no doubt that I will engage.
Besides Iterable, what are the other tools in your marketing toolkit that you can’t live without?
Some of my most commonly used tools are: Figma for design review, Jira for project management, Litmus for multi-device QA, and Tableau for analytics.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Progress over perfection.
If you weren’t a marketer, what would you be?
I’d be an Event Coordinator focused on bringing people together to create unique memories.
