Interview

When and how did you get your start in marketing?

While studying in an exchange program in Mexico, I had the chance to learn from an expert in digital marketing who inspired me to pursue my passion. As I worked on real-world cases, I discovered my love for marketing and knew that this was my calling!

What brings you joy in your role?

Oh, many things! But one of my favorite things is making people’s lives easier by automating processes that used to take a lot of time. It’s so satisfying to know that I can save someone’s precious hours!

What tips, tricks, or pieces of advice would give a new Iterable user?

  1. Make sure to check out Iterable Academy – it’s a great resource to get started.
  2. Remember to save your work manually since there is no auto-save option.
  3. Take your time to experiment, as it’s super easy!

What are some Iterable features that have made your job easier? Or have been game-changers for yourself and your team?

My favorite features are handlebars in templates and the hold-until option in journeys. These features allow us to create personalized and timely communication.

As a consumer, what brings you joy from a brand’s outreach/communication?

Honest, friendly, and valuable communication! I’d say it doesn’t have to be very personalized, once it seems to be honest.

What do you think will be the next big thing in the marketing industry (AI, automation, new channels?)

I believe AI is becoming increasingly important in various aspects of marketing, such as content & copy creation and customer targeting.

If you weren’t a marketer, what would you be?

A teacher! I believe good teachers change the world!

What is one goal you’d like to achieve in your lifetime?

Being able to love wholeheartedly and maintain meaningful relationships until the end of my days is my greatest aspiration.
